Applying for Admission
- Complete an Application for Admission to the college (providing all requested information)
Pay the $50 non-refundable application fee
*October 7-9, 2025 is Kansas Apply Free Days! We will waive your application on these days. All you need to do at the end of your application is to choose "Apply Free Days" and it will waiver your application fee.
- Provide TEAS test scores (for pre-nursing, pre-respiratory care and Practical Nursing students ONLY). Information on this test can be found in our Testing Center.
Applicants will be notified in an email of their acceptance into the College. Students will not be eligible to register for classes until they have completed the admissions process and are admitted to their program. Fort Hays Tech | North Central is a first come, first admitted institution (with the exception of Nursing). Students are encouraged to get all required admissions materials submitted as soon as possible to secure a spot in their desired program of study.
Additional Information for Nursing Students:
Nursing at Fort Hays Tech | North Central is a competitive application process. Students who have completed the pre-requisite courses as listed on the Nursing website, or believe that they will have them completed by Fall 2025 are eligible to complete the program application below. Students who have completed the college application (not necessary if you are a current Fort Hays Tech | North Central student), the program application, and provided all documentation requested and official transcripts will be considered for the nursing program.
If you are needing to take the pre-requisite courses for the nursing program you only need to fill out the college application above and indicate your program of interest as pre-nursing.
