Fort Hays Tech | North Central is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Practical Nursing (PN) Educator for the Nursing Department. This position is responsible for providing high-quality classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction that prepares students for successful careers as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). Duties include delivering engaging instruction, supervising clinical experiences, maintaining a positive and organized learning environment, supporting student success, and collaborating with faculty and clinical partners.
Practical Nursing is a hands-on program designed to prepare students for careers in healthcare through classroom instruction, laboratory experiences, and clinical training. Students develop skills in patient care, nursing fundamentals, medical-surgical nursing, and professional nursing practice while preparing for licensure and employment in the nursing field.
The ideal candidate is passionate about nursing education, committed to student success, and able to foster a positive and engaging learning environment. An Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and previous teaching experience and clinical nursing experience are preferred.
