Fort Hays Tech | North Central is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Instructor to join the Nursing Department. This position is responsible for providing high-quality classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction that prepares students for successful careers as Registered Nurses (RNs). Duties include delivering engaging instruction, supervising clinical experiences, maintaining student records, supporting student success, and collaborating with faculty and clinical partners to foster a positive and effective learning environment.
 
The Associate Degree Nursing program prepares students for careers as Registered Nurses through a combination of classroom instruction, laboratory training, and clinical experiences. Students gain hands-on experience in nursing fundamentals, medical-surgical nursing, patient care, and professional nursing practice while developing the skills necessary for licensure and employment in the healthcare field.
 
The ideal candidate is passionate about nursing education, committed to student success, and able to foster a positive and engaging learning environment. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, with a Master’s degree in Nursing also preferred. Previous teaching experience and a minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience in the medical-surgical nursing area are preferred.
